The Specialized Bicycle Components’ founder Mike Sinyard has an instantthoughprofoundmaxim: “We commencedSpecific for dualisticchiefmotives: Firstly: We worship the sport. Secondly: We crave to makemerchandisethataidpersonse.g. you thrill the sportjust like we do. Period.”

Hence, in 1974, Mike started the corporation and twoyearslater on sold its firstself-made product, a tire conceived for themoving about market. In 1981,the StumpJumper – the first mountain bike to go on sale to the broad society along came.

Specialized Bikes – or in full, Specialized Bicycle Components Incis the fourth largest manufacturer of high end bicycles in America. Specialized is continuouslydoing its best to makesuperiorbiketechnologies. It hascreated a landmark when itlaunched the Mountain Bike to the common man. The primarytype, an innovativeproduct now on show at Smithsonian Museum.

For the past29 years, Mike and Specializedhad not withdrawn from itscompany motto, as shown in the slogan: “Innovate Or Die.”

Specialized produces and sellstrailblazingmechanismsfor instance the three spoke wheel racer’s dream – the physician-designed time cutter bicycle seats, light helmets, et cetera.

A cycling devotee, Mike ran into a lady who was a friend with Italy’s classic touring as well as racing bicycleproducers. These manufacturers were ready to let Mike sell their productsback in America.

Mikeunderstood that high endbicycle spares were not easilyobtainable in the US and might be valued by the authenticbikeenthusiasts. He made usewhat was left of of the $1500 to pay forspares, createda record and unloaded the entiresupply to the areabicycle shop sellers, a two-way relationshipwhichcarried on for years.

Readystartup money was still tricky but Mike prevailed over it and forged ahead to build a veryflourishingenterprise.
